Thanksgiving Feast

Parents/Guardians,

Do not forget!!! Tomorrow, November, 23 is our Thanksgiving feast. Kindergarten is in charge of bringing in stuffing. Please make sure the stuffing is cooked and if you have a crock pot we can use to keep it warm, I would appreciate it! Just make sure your last name and my name are on the crock pot so it can be returned to you.

Aslo, we will be on Thanksgiving break November, 24, 25, 26. Have a wonderful and safe holiday break and we will see you on November 29.

Our class will be performing our first play!!! "The First Thanksgiving" will be held on November 19, at 2:00 pm in the cafeteria. Hope to see you there!!!

Buckelew Farms

I am sorry to say that our very first field trip to Buckelew Farms/Reid Park was a huge disaster due to the rain. However, it did end up being a wonderful day. The pumpkin patch came to us!! We had fun picking pumpkins in our make-shift pumpkin patch and everyone got to bring home a nice, big pumpkin!

We will have other field trips planned, so don't forget to read my weekly newsletter for all of the information!

Don't forget our fundraiser at Boston Market tomorrow!!! We will be having the fundraiser at both Grant/Tanque Verde and 22nd/Kolbe locations. Enjoy!!

Also, we will be having Movie Night on October 1st. We will be showing TOY STORY 3!!

For the month of September we will be focusing on Trustworthiness. If you catch your child being trustworthy, jot it down on note paper and I will share it with the class!

Dear Parent's,

I wrote in my newsletter that scholastic book orders will be sent out today. Instead they will be sent out tomorrow and the book order money will be due on Monday, August 30. No cash please!

Also, Entertainment Books went home today. If you would like to purchase one or more there will be a order form in the plastic bag the book came home in. If you choose not to purchase the book, please bring it back right away in the plastic bag it was sent home in. Please return the books to me, as I need to keep track of the books.

_____ ALL MUST DO!!! (Due Friday) Please bring in one UNCOOKED egg for green eggs and ham in a hard container so the egg doesn’t get smashed in our back packs.
